Description
The Kenmeri GT-R arrived in 1972 as Nissan's attempt to continue what the Hakosuka had started. The oil crisis ended its racing career almost immediately — only 197 GT-R variants were produced before the nameplate went dormant. That scarcity made the Kenmeri one of the most desirable Skylines in existence long before the R32 rebuilt the GT-R's reputation. The hardtop body style gives it proportions that have aged more gracefully than almost any Japanese car of the same period.
Hot Wheels RLC's sELECTIONs programme puts the choice in members' hands — and in 2023, members chose the Kenmeri. The subject matter carries its own weight. 4 units at Factory 64.
