The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is not a subtle car. The fastback roofline, the recessed grille, the hidden headlights, the power-bulge hood — Chrysler's B-body designers in 1969 were making a statement about American muscle at its most theatrical, and they succeeded completely. The Charger starred in Bullitt, The Dukes of Hazzard and Fast & Furious, but it was already a legend before any of them.
