NISMO built the 400R for customers who considered the standard Skyline GT-R insufficient. The complete GT1-specification suspension treatment, a hand-rebuilt RB26 producing 400 hp at the flywheel, and special lightweight bodywork — all delivered through Nissan dealerships to serious drivers. Just 44 examples left the factory. The 400R remains one of the rarest and most extreme factory specials Nissan has ever produced.
